- The 60th Running of the Servus Calgary Marathon will be taking place on Sunday May 26, 2024 and we need you!
- We have over 1000 volunteer spots to fill throughout race weekend (Thursday May 23th - Sunday May 26th). From venue set-up, to awards, to course marshaling, and everything in between, we need energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to make the 60th Running of the Servus Calgary Marathon the best race event yet.
Here are just a few of the volunteer roles available:
* Information Ambassadors - if you like talking to people
* Course Marshals - if you want to be right on the race course to cheer on race participants and ensure course safety
* Equipment Clean-up - if you like to make things clean and shiny before returning to storage
* Equipment Truck Set-Up - if you like to move and pack equipment
* Venue Sign Crew - if you love organizing things
Come one, come all!
- Everyone is welcome! Our volunteer roles are suited for diverse skills and abilities, ages, and schedules.
- If you are part of a run club, team, company, or organization, please email volunteer@calgarymarathon.com to discuss how we can get your group involved. Plus, your group may be eligible for an honorarium.

For nearly five decades, the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk & Wheel race event has been one of Calgary’s largest family fundraising events supporting both Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities and the Calgary Health Foundation. Volunteers are essential to the success of this event and we can't wait to work with YOU - volunteer shifts are available Wednesday May 8th - Sunday May 12th (race day).
There are a variety of volunteer roles available to choose from, whether you want to be supporting participants out on the race course or experiencing the energy of race day at CF Chinook Centre.
