All Sport One Community hosted a fun evening at We Rock the Spectrum to cultivate a fun, safe, and active space for children with intellectual and physical disabilities in the North Calgary community. Two instructors from Bloom Wellness helped to facilitate this event by introducing adapted dance to allow these kids and their families the opportunity to express themselves through movement and build their own personal relationship to physical activity at their own pace. We Rock the Spectrum is a space built with inclusion in mind so that each individual child can focus on fun and creativity, while adapting to the unique needs of each participant. All Sport One Community and We Rock the Spectrum created meaningful opportunities for all children to feel supported and considered while being an active part of the community.
