We are looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Guest Services Coordinator to lead our front-line guest services team. This Full-Time role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the front desk, supervising staff, and supporting the efficient operation of the facility

Reporting to the Director, Brand Strategy & Marketing and supervised by the Senior Marketing Communications Officer and Athletic Communications Coordinator, the incumbent supports
the implementation and execution of the Varsity Blues communications plan and social media strategy. This person will be heavily involved in content creation and management (written and multimedia), while also providing communications services, including but not limited to journalistic writing, statistical compilation, production of Varsity Blues publications and website
management.

The Ice Technician is responsible for daily ice resurfacing, preventive maintenance, arena cleanliness, equipment operation, and supporting venue conversions.

This role ensures that all ice sheets and facility conditions meet the performance and cleanliness standards as well as safety expectations of community programming, high‑performance training, national team camps, competitions, and special events.

Canada West is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Content Creator with a strong social media focus to support our in-season coverage across multiple sports.

This part-time, flexible role will play a key part in delivering real-time, engaging, platform optimized content to thousands of Canada West student-athletes and fans. The ideal candidate
is a digital storyteller with a strong understanding of how audiences consume sports content across platforms. They bring a wide knowledge of multiple sports, thrive in fast-paced, live
environments, with the ability to translate game action into compelling photo and video based digital content in real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership
  • Lead daily pickleball activities, drills, and games tailored to youth skill levels.
  • Ensure all activities are age-appropriate, inclusive, and aligned with camp objectives.
• Supervision & Safety
  • Maintain a safe environment by enforcing facility rules and monitoring camper behavior.
  • Respond promptly to any safety concerns or incidents and report to management.
• Volunteer Coordination
  • Direct and support camp volunteers to assist with activities and supervision.
• Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents during camp hours.
  • Provide clear instructions and updates to campers and volunteers.
• Set-Up & Clean-Up
  • Prepare courts and equipment before sessions and ensure proper clean-up afterward.
• Reporting
  • Track attendance, incidents, and provide feedback to the Company after each camp session.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in a recreational or educational setting.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of pickleball rules and basic techniques (coaching experience is an asset).
• Ability to manage groups and maintain a positive, safe environment.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred
