ALL SPORT ONE DAY

TESTIMONIALS

"My kid had been wanting to try soccer but was not yet ready for a team. She practiced some skills, learned some lingo, and feels more confident already."

"My 9-year-old has struggles with anxiety with new experiences. ASOD offers new and repeated sessions that my son has participated in. I have seen him coming out of his shell more and more with each event he has participated in. This last session he was engaged, social and having fun. Thank you for the past new sport experiences but also the social aspect!"

"My kiddo had a great experience and tried activities we may not have otherwise experienced. One day is a great opportunity to try something on for size before committing to a session/seasons"

"My daughter tried 4 different sports that she hasn't really tried before and loves all of them. Now it's time to try and find time to do them all!"

"•What a great day. My boys have always wanted to try fencing but I wasn’t even sure kids there was a place kids could participate in Calgary. So grateful for an opportunity to see what’s it’s all about. We will be registering one of them for the fall. Thanks Sport Calgary!"

“All four groups at Southland (Handball, Fencing, Inline Skating and Aikido) were amazing instructors/volunteers. I enjoyed watching them all interact with the kids making sure they played safe and having fun”

“My daughter was quite nervous about the surfing (Flow Rider at Seton YMCA) but once she had a little instruction and help from the coaches, she relaxed and jumped in! Being able to try out a variety of sports has been great for inspiring confidence and interest in something she may not have previously considered”

Ages groups have been decided in consultation with each sport provider in order to provide a better experience for the children.
