Sport Calgary's 'Celebration of Sport 2024,' presented by Volker Stevin Canada, was a resounding success on September 18th at the Deane House!
The event celebrated the remarkable individuals and groups who contribute to Calgary's standing as a premier sports city. It provided an exceptional networking opportunity, uniting sports organizations, athletes, community leaders, corporate professionals, and government officials.
We are already looking forward to the excitement of the 2025 event!
Ron Southern Business and Sport Award
This award recognizes and celebrates a corporation that provides outstanding and innovative support to sport in Calgary. Our intent is to honour a business that pro-actively provides funding and/or other support to sport in Calgary.
Perry Cavanagh Sport Leadership Award
This award recognizes and celebrates the outstanding contribution of a sport club or organization, which has made a significant positive contribution to the betterment of sport in Calgary.
Lois Mitchell Sport Volunteer Dedication Award
This award is Sport Calgary’s way to acknowledge individuals who devote their time and effort toward the development of community sport.
