Inline Skating (Families)

Alien In-Line is Canada's favourite skate school and skate shop, teaching more than 100,000 kids every year across western Canada. The focus of the Learn to Skate Program is to introduce the basics of skating on inline skates, from falling down and getting back up, then progressing to more challenging skills like balancing on one foot, forward striding, stopping, and skating backwards. These skills will be introduced in a fun filled environment involving lots of movement through exciting and encouraging drills and games.

Session provided by Alien In-Line

  • This session is for families to learn to skate together, kids must be at least 6 years of age.

  • All equipment (protective and skates) provided, but bring your own helmet if you have one.

Adaptability Comments

This session is adaptable for cognitive or mental disabilites such as Down Syndrome & Autism. Aides can pariticipate to assist if needed.
