Sport Calgary collaborates closely with community leaders, social agencies, schools, or community associations to understand your community's needs and expectations. We design customized programs to introduce or reintroduce sports to our communities effectively.



Delivery Formats

Multisport Day

1 day (4 hours) – 1 location – 4 to 6 different sports

Various sport providers unite in one venue for a day, offering participants the chance to explore 4+ different sports or themed activities in a fun, stress-free, non-competitive environment. These multi-sport sessions keep everyone active and engaged, ensuring they leave with new skills across various sports.

Ideal for making sport discovery a one-day event for your community.

Weekly Sport Sampler

3 - 8 different sports over the course of 4 to 8 weeks

Bring a different sport every week to your community. Over the course of 4 to 8 weeks, Sport Calgary brings a 1-hour sport discovery class so participants can try various sports every week.

Progressive Sport Program

1 sport, once a week for 4 to 8 weeks

Bring a short sport program to your community with 1 class a week for the development of progressive basic skills.

Past Events

Taradale Multisport Day

Six Sports on various spaces throughout an outdoor school space. Sports occurred throughout the day. Was open to the community for anyone to join


PIA-Multisport Week


4 Sports introduced every other weekend. Youth participated in an introductory lesson of a sport. The group had the opportunity to try a sport in various facilities.



Downtown Soccer Program

An 8-week soccer program held in the Downtown community at the Kerby Centre Gymnasium for all ages to progressively learn the sport of soccer through drills and small games each week.
