Rogers is skating into Seven Chiefs Sportsplex & Jim Starlight Centre for a free Rogers Monday Night Hockey Viewing Party.

New this season, the family-friendly event offers fans the unique opportunity to watch a national NHL on Sportsnet broadcast live on their community rink jumbotron. Plus, guests will have the option to watch the game from the ice during a community skate or from the stands.

During the Viewing Party, hockey fans can also participate in exciting and innovative activities for the whole family, including meet and greets with NHL Alumni, technology-forward activations and hockey-themed games.

Activities

  • Rogers Ultimate Dangles – Can you dangle better than the pros? Using LED light tracking and sensor technology, fans can virtually face-off against Connor McDavid and John Tavares in this stick handling challenge.

  • Rogers Hologram – Beam us up, Sportsnet! Take part in a future-first Q&A session with Sportsnet personalities as they join the festivities in hologram form! Plus, fans can turn themselves into holograms in a truly unique on-site experience.

  • Innovative Photo Opps – Fans can take their photos with a larger-than-life replica of the Stanley Cup, a giant hockey glove or goalie mask. Plus, attendees can use Augmented Rogers Reality to take a virtual photo with their favourite NHL star or explore the Stanley Cup from their own device.

  • Community Skate – Fans are invited to take a spin on the ice with friends and family while they watch the end-to-end action of the NHL on Sportsnet broadcast on the arena jumbotron.

  • PLUS – Fans will have the opportunity to enter for their chance to win amazing prizes throughout the evening!
