As Pamana Kali in Calgary is a not for profit organization with a mission to help remove barriers for anyone who would like to learn about active living and martial arts as a lifestyle; talk is by donation. Donation, however, is not mandatory to attend, and will be collected at the event for those who would like to.

Join Pamanan Kali: Philippine Martial Arts and Culture, and instructor Alvin Catacutan for an introduction to empowerment through martial arts, while exploring the Four Jungian Archetypes of the King, Wizard, Knight, and the Lover in the context of Ancient Filipino Tribal Roles and Wisdom.

Using a combination of Martial Arts Training, mindfulness practices like body scans and meditations, and conversation, the session will examine the differences between the mature and immature masculine.

Alvin Catacutan is a Black Belt and a life-long martial artist ranked and certified to teach multiple styles of martial arts. He’s worked in theater, film, and television as an actor and fight director. He has devoted his life to teaching children and adults to live healthy, happy, safer lives through the martial arts.
