Founded in 2020, the JKA KARATE-DO EMPOW-LIL ACADEMY was highly appreciated for its social activities and Self-Confidence program. From then until now, we have devoted our effort to inherit and develop this irreplaceable martial arts culture born in Japan. Consequently, on 10th September, 2021, we were approved as being part of JKA-SKD World Organization of Canada by the Board of Directors. In 2022 we became a member of Karate Alberta as well as Sport Calgary.

The Japan Karate Association aims to promote improvement of its skills and self-discipline by research and instruction of Karate-Do, thereby contributing to the improvement of the well-being of the people and cultivate a sound martial arts spirit.
