Sara has been raising funds for private and community causes for over a decade and has managed numerous granting programs throughout her career. As an active participant on both sides of the grant pipeline, she has a strong understanding of what grantors are looking for and what it takes to put together a robust application. She has assisted in raising millions of dollars for community-driven projects. She has a passion for helping organizations demonstrate the impacts of their project(s) and share their unique story.
Brad Ellard - Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities
Brad Ellard has been the Regional Manager, AB & NWT for Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities since 2018. Prior to joining Jumpstart, he spent 7 years with the Oilers Entertainment Group in event presentation and community engagement roles. Brad is a graduate of Mount Royal University’s Bachelor of Health and Physical Education – Sport and Recreation Management program and has a BA in Economics from the University of Calgary.
Through his work with Jumpstart Brad builds relationships with organizations to help kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in an effort to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities. He is committed to giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbors, their classmates, and their friends.
Brad enjoys being active and when he is not working, he can be found in the mountains with his wife and two sons skiing, hiking, camping, and biking.
