To celebrate the FIS World Cup Halfpipe Rodeo happening at WinSport on February 15th, Freestyle Alberta is offering an opportunity to TRY FREESTYLE on Saturday, February 15 from 10am-12pm.

Freestyle Alberta has been collaborating with local clubs and ski areas from across Alberta to initiate a Try Freestyle program that invites young skiers to experience Freestyle Skiing with certified coaches and a mini competition.

FA would like to invite anyone ages 6-17 trying Freestyle for the first time, or part of a club to come do laps with our experienced Freestyle ski coaches.

The focus is INTRO to Freestyle skill development and navigating jumps, rails, boxes and other features with a certified coach, and to participate in a fun mini competition!

Date/Time: Saturday, February 15, 2025 10:00AM-12:00PM

Location: WinSport, 88 Canada Olympic Road Southwest, Calgary, AB Canada

Format:

● 1h of training with coaches

● 50 min of slopestyle jam - unlimited laps/tricks (hike or chairlift laps)

● coaches judge their own group of athletes

● Awards presented on

● most improved

● best trick

● Spirit award
