Run Calgary is thrilled to take the reins and be part of an exciting new chapter in the history of the Calgary Police Half Marathon.

Celebrating its 45th year, the race has a new look and name - The Calgary Police Classic, a road race boasting a fast and flat half-marathon course, a new 8 km event (not the traditional 5 km and 10 km races), as well as a kids race for the first time ever.

We’re committed to not only preserving the race’s rich history but also expanding it, taking it to the next level, and making it more inclusive, accessible, and community-driven than ever before.

In addition to a new venue, new distances, new branding, and taking the race to the road, we’ll be bringing on some new local partners (think post-race donut party and juice bar) and have added some sweet signature swag at check-out (aviators, anyone?).
