Join us on Family Day for the inaugural Sport Calgary Winter Festival at the iconic Olympic Oval, University of Calgary! This free, family-friendly event brings the community together for a day of sports, fun, and excitement.

❄ Public Skating on the Olympic Oval (free rentals available, first-come, first-serve)
🏒 Try New Ice Sports like Ringette, Para Ice Hockey, and Speed Skating (some require a caged helmet and gloves)

🎉 Fun for Everyone! Whether you're on the ice or cheering from the sidelines, there's something for all

🕛 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Free Public Skating (Oval)
Free skate rentals available (subject to availability).
🕛 12:00 PM – 1:20 PM | Try Ringette (Hockey Rink)
Caged hockey helmet and hockey gloves required.
🕛 12:00 PM – 2:45 PM | Learn to Skate Instruction (Short Track Rink)
🕑 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Try Para Ice Hockey (Hockey Rink)
Caged hockey helmet and hockey gloves required.
🕒 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Try Speed Skating
