I don’t have the required equipment for a session. What should I do?
If you do not have the required equipment (CSA helmet and skates), you can try the following:
KIDS ONLY: Contact the Calgary Flames Sports Bank immediately after registering as they may be able to provide a skate/helmet rental for your child. Quantities and sizes are limited, and equipment is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact admin@flamessportsbank.ca and mention that you need an equipment rental for a Sport Calgary All Sport One City Learn to Skate session in your email.
There are companies in Calgary that offer sports equipment rentals on a short-term basis, such as Sports Rent and Outlaw Sports.
Ask your family, friends, or neighbors! Just make sure it fits properly so you’re safe when playing.
Reach out to a sport organization directly to see if they have equipment you can borrow.
