Yoga (Adults)

Join us for the mindful mix of strength, balance, flexibility, and breathwork. Combining gentle movements with powerful sequences, and finishing with a stretch and release. You'll be sure to feel accomplished and serene after this class!

Session Information

  • This is a session for adults (18+), including U of C students!

  • Changerooms are available on site

  • Participants should wear comfortable clothing they can move in, and can bring a warm sweater/hoodie for savassana (meditation).

  • You can bring your own yoga mat if you have one, but they will be supplied.

  • Please print and bring a completed copy of Active Living’s waiver.

  • Please arrive to the campus 20 minutes early to give yourself time to park and find KNA 162. (See Map). KNA 162 (Multi-Purpose studio) is located in Kinesiology A which is accessible from the main East entrance (by the dinosaur statue/red arrow on map below), the West Entrance (by the Outdoor Centre) or through the entrance of the Olympic Oval. The Client Services desk (located inside the main East Entrance) can help direct you to KNA 162.

  • Paid on-campus parking is available. You can also take transit (University C-Train Station). Sport Calgary is also offering free parking at our office (limited spaces available) for participants of this class. If you are unfamiliar with campus, it’s easiest to follow the red path in the map below to get to the Kinesiology Building.
