Luge (Ages 8-14 at Winsport)

Safely learn the fundamentals of the Olympic sport of Luge outdoors on a wheeled sled, before trying a pull start on the track in the Winsport Ice House.

SESSION INFORMATION

  • Access to changerooms is available on site at the facility

  • Participants must bring warm clothing (Jacket/hoodie, pants, gloves) as the Ice House is cold. Please ensure the clothing isn’t too baggy. Participants should also bring a water bottle

  • Participants can bring their own ski or snowboard helmet. If you don’t have one, please indicate this on the sign-up form

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your session.

  • All participants must complete the Winsport Ice House waiver online and the Alberta Luge Association waiver in order to participate.
