Learn Wallyball

Wallyball Canada is dedicated to promoting the sport of wallyball in Canada. Its aims are to teach the sport and to encourage and enable players to attain their level of excellence. It has been described as the intensity of volleyball coupled with the speed of racketball.

Designed for people that are new to both wallyball and volleyball, this course will cover the basic skills and strategy of playing wallyball, culminating in a game where your abilities will be observed and suggestions made for improvement.

This course will cover the rules (Official Ruleset of Wallyball Canada), serving, basic hits, positioning strategies, gear, court etiquette and communication on the court.

Instructor: Mark MacGillivray

Mark MacGillivray has played wallyball for close to 20 years and serves on the Advisory Board of Wallyball Canada. He also served as President during his 10 year involvement with the Calgary Outdoor Club. His passion is to give people who enjoy wallyball the opportunity to improve their skills and to promote the sport to all social groups in Calgary.


The cost for this event is a sliding scale, depending on the number of attendees:

4 - $15
5 - $10
6 - $10
7 - $5
8 - $5


PAYMENT DETAILS
Attendees can make through e-Transfer to admin@wallyball.ca. If this is not available, please contact the organizer through meetup messaging. Once payment has been confirmed, you will be moved from the waiting list to the list of attendees.
