Yasmin Austridge
Community Outreach Coordinator
Originally from the United Kingdom, Yasmin brings an international perspective and a lifelong passion for sport to her role as Community Outreach Coordinator at Sport Calgary. She leads the All Sport One Community program, an initiative dedicated to removing barriers to sport participation by offering free, inclusive opportunities to equity-deserving individuals and groups across Calgary.
Yasmin’s own love for sport began at a young age, playing every sport available at school from netball to field hockey to rounders. She focused in on middle distance running and has since represented England and Great Britain in the steeplechase.
Before moving to Calgary, Yasmin competed in track and cross country at the NCAA Division I level for Lamar University and Colorado State University, where she won seven conference championship titles and earned NCAA All-American honours in the 3000m steeplechase.
Yasmin holds a Master of Tourism Management from CSU, an MBA from Lamar University, and a BSc in Geography from the University of Birmingham. She is grateful to sport for taking her all over the world and is passionate about providing opportunities for Calgarians to experience the many benefits of sport.
